About Me

I'm a creative, coach, and arts leader who is passionate about helping artists and creatives navigate change, develop and grow as professionals, and build meaningful and sustainable careers.

"I believe there are many ways to build

a meaningful and successful

life and career as a creative professional."

My Coaching Philosophy

I believe that artists and creatives are naturally resourceful, capable, and creative. My role as a coach is not to provide answers or prescribe a path, but to help you uncover your own insights, clarify your direction, and move forward with greater confidence and intention.

Creative work often involves navigating uncertainty, competing priorities, self-doubt, burnout, and the challenge of balancing artistic fulfillment with professional and personal realities. Coaching provides a dedicated space to reflect, gain perspective, develop strategies, and take meaningful and intentional action.

Whether you're exploring a career transition, growing a creative practice, developing an arts-based business, strengthening your leadership capacity, or determining what's next, I help you connect your goals with practical action that aligns with your values and vision.

My Professional Background

My professional journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and a career in a family-owned design and manufacturing business, where I spent nearly two decades developing products, building brands, leading teams, and helping grow a successful creative enterprise.

A significant career transition later led me into the arts and culture sector, where I joined the startup team that helped transform Toronto's Gladstone Hotel into one of Canada's pioneering art hotels. There, I worked closely with the founder, artists, arts organizations, and community partners to develop artistic programming, partnerships, and arts-based brand strategy initiatives.

I later held leadership roles within non-profit arts organizations, where I supported artists in strengthening their creative practices, developing professional skills, and accessing opportunities, and building sustainable careers.

Across these roles, I've had the privilege of collaborating with and supporting hundreds of artists, creative entrepreneurs, educators, and cultural leaders through coaching, mentoring, leadership, and program development.

Today, I combine my coaching expertise with decades of experience in the arts, creative industries, entrepreneurship, and organizational leadership to help artists and creatives build careers and lives that are meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with who they are.

I am an Internationally Accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Co-active Training Institute®.

Based in Toronto, Canada, I coach artists and creatives throughout Canada, the United States, and internationally.

What it's like to work
with me

Coaching with me is a creative and collaborative process grounded in curiosity, reflection, and purposeful action.

Clients often tell me they value the balance I bring between thoughtful inquiry and practical support. Together, we'll explore both the inner and outer dimensions of your work: your values, strengths, mindset, and aspirations, alongside the strategies, decisions, and actions needed to create meaningful progress.

My goal is to provide a supportive and challenging space where you can think more clearly, navigate change with confidence, and move forward in ways that feel aligned with who you are and what matters most to you.

Conversations on creative work and careers

I love having meaningful conversations about navigating our work as creative professionals and building a creative life and career or business with intention. Recently, I’ve had the chance to dive into these topics as a guest on some podcasts (linked below), with more to come.

My conversation with Jennifer Askey on her The Mindful Academy podcast about what it means to sustain a vibrant creative practice—especially when it competes with the demands of academic or institutional work.

My conversation with Paper Talk podcast hosts Jessie, Quynh, and Sara about how creatives can refine their approach to productivity, work-life balance, and artistic growth

If you host a podcast and think we’d spark a great conversation, I'd love to chat!
